About the YouLoader Project ...

YouLoader was developed out of a need for the ability to place more then one YouTube based video on my client's web site. After being asked to add numerous videos, I realized how long the videos took to load and how cluttered the site became. I knew there had to be a better way to add multiple videos, while making the client's site look clean, professional and easy to navigate. The goal became to find a way we could create a simple and "easy to use" system to view and organize YouTube video clips.

I began to brainstorm and came up with a possible solution several days later. I had developed a way to do what I set out to accomplish, and it actually worked quite well! It worked so well in fact that I felt other webmasters could benefit from the script and use it with their clients sites as well. After getting a rough draft of my ideas together, I continued to test what I created and being very happy with the results. What was missing was a slick backend admin CP.

I decided to pitch the idea to a colleague of mine, Paul Alger from Ironclad. Paul loved the concept and quickly jumped on board creating a backend for the simplistic front end that was already going through some refinement. I knew I could create a much more complete system with Paul's help. The script began to take shape. We began testing the basic backend admin while adding the features we felt would be most useful. While this was all coming together, we exchanged even more ideas and just a few weeks later we had a finished product. One we are proud to release!

The script that was born is now known as YouLoader ...
